Open an account with New Direction Trust Company. Since 2003, NDTCO has enabled self-directed investors to incorporate alternative assets like precious metals into their IRAs, 401(k)s, and other such tax-advantaged savings vehicles. NDTCO offers Texas Precious Metals Depository as a storage option for its clients.
Since NDTCO is the custodian for your self-directed precious metals holdings, you will not need to open a separate account at TPMD.
To get started, you will need to open an account with New Direction Trust Company on their company website.
Step 2
Place your order online or by phone at texmetals.com.
Once you have funded your self-directed IRA with New Direction, you may place your order online or by phone with a member of our staff. Our team is trained in the process and will guide you through the transaction steps from purchase to final storage. If you do not already have an account at texmetals.com, sign up below.
Step 3
New Direction Trust Company will fund your order.
Texas Precious Metals will contact New Direction Trust Company for payment for your order. Once your funds have been received, we will complete the order and transfer your holdings to TPMD.
